Airlocks mark ShZH (volume 2, 3, 6, 10 and 15 liters) are applied for settling product discharge from cyclone dischargers, cyclone batteries, other air cleaning units in pneumatic transport systems and aspiration networks. Airlocks may be also applied for discharge of bulk stock from silos and other containers, and as dosing unit for volumetric dosing.
Airlocks application is typical for transfer of bulk materials from one container to another with different air pressure in these containers. Often such containers are storage hoppers of air cleaning units in combination with pneumatic transport pipelines. Airlocks also provide opportunity for material dosed supply from storage hopper to various technological chains, and allow easily automate the process.
Airlock is designed for operation in conjunction with cyclones, filters, pneumatic separators, applied in technological schemes of flour mills, groats mills and animal feed mills grain storages.

Airlock ShZH type consists of housing with cylindrical chamber, inside which rotor with blades rotates, and electric drive of gear motor. Cast-iron housing is a cylinder with two nozzles – top inlet nozzle and bottom outlet nozzle. Steel rotor is one-piece welded construction installed on two bearings, which is driven by gear motor mounted on the rotor spindle.
Product to the airlock cavity is supplied by gravity into the upper inlet opening. Product is distributed in the space between blades, due to blades rotation product moves to the lower outlet opening and, by its own weight, is removed from the airlock cavity into the interconnected reservoir. Rotor is designed for continuous operation for 24 hours a day.
