BSH-200

Multifunctional screen grain cleaner and separator BSH-200 is designed, due to numerous configuration options, both for pre-cleaning (receiving cleaning process) and main cleaning (industrial cleaning process) of heap of chaff and grain (wheat, rye, oat etc.), groats and legumes, industrial and oil crops from light, coarse and fine impurities, foreign grain and foreign matters that are differ by geometrical dimensions and aerodynamic qualities, and are separable by air flow and screens. The aim of such operations lies in reduction of impurities content in stocked seeds in accordance with criteria specified by Regulations for technological processes at the grain elevators, flour mills, groats mills, and compound feed mills and by other normative documents.

Cleaning/screening machine BSH-200 has been produced since 2010. Grain cleaners and separators BSH-200 are successfully operated in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Serbia, Kirghizia, Latvia and Lithuania.

The aim of such operations lies in reduction of impurities content in stocked seeds in accordance with criteria specified by Regulations for technological processes at the grain elevators, flour mills, groats mills, and compound feed mills and by other normative documents.


The machine is operated within grain storages, in seeds preparation blocks of silos, grain elevators, at flour milling plants, malt houses, compound feed mills etc., as well as at explosion-hazardous production facilities. 


BSH-200 is produced in accordance with third category of GOST-15150 (IEC 60721-2-1; IEC 60068-1), climate version “U” for internal market and export to temperate countries. However, separators have to work reliably in operating regimes at a temperature from 10 (°С) degrees below zero to 40 (°С) degrees above zero, relative moisture 80% with average annual temperature of 15 (°С) degrees above zero, atmospheric pressure from 650 to 800 mm Hg (86,6÷106,7 kPa).


The machine is able to start and to work properly with temperature from 30 (°С) degrees below zero when applying special greases.

Notes* Technical capacity specified on line 1 is referred to the cleaning of feedstock – wheat with volume weight 760 kg/m3 and impurities content (seeds of weed and cultivated plants):  


  • for pre-cleaning up to 15% with moisture max. 20%;

  • for main cleaning under foreign impurities content max. 3% with moisture content max. 15%. 


With increasing of above mentioned norms of impurity and raw material moisture, separator technical capacity reduces by 2% for every percent of impurity increase and by 5% for every percent of gain in moisture. 


For cleaning of other plants, different from wheat, the capacity reduces in the following way: 


  • for rye and corn – by 90%;

  • for panic grass and barley – by 80%;

  • for buckwheat and oat – by 70%;

  • for sunflower – by 50% of rated.


Distinguishing features of BSH-200 from the analogues in accordance with technological process


  • Opportunity for adjustment of upper and lower screens inclination allows optimally set the machine depending on cleaning tasks (receiving or industrial cleaning process), type of grain and its characteristics (impurities and moisture content).


  • Access doors at the body side frames and roof for regulation of feeder counterweights and visual monitoring of cleaning process.


  • Balance between collecting tray mesh size and size of screen cleaners (screen cleaning rubber balls) for more effective cleaning of screens from trapped debris.


  • Possibility of quick screens replacement (max. 30 min.) for different crops with cleaning of machine’s body, without removing of collecting tray and cleaners.


  • Quick-detachable access doors at the separator’s body side frames for easy cleaning and servicing of the machine.


  • Rearrangement of tray for coarse impurities remove and electric motor of body drive on left or right side allows to customize the machine for peculiarities of a particular facility, especially in case of existing production lines modernization. 


  • A special feeder at the intake reliably distributes the product flow across the width of input to screens and eliminates the need for preliminary hopper.


  • Easy installation of the separator directly at the facility.


Structure and Functioning


Screen grain cleaner and separator BSH-200 (pic.1) consists of the following parts: frame 1, body 2 with screen frames, feeder 3, aspiration channel 4.


The body is suspended to the frame by flexible suspensions.


Screen frames are installed in the body by slideway railings (fixed on body side frames) and fixed rigidly by screws. Screens are installed on screen frames and fixed to separate frameworks by clinchers.


Design of the separator provides an opportunity for adjustment of screen frames inclination: upper from 4° to 7°, lower from 8° to 10°.


Wide setting angles increase speed of seeds movement along the screens and provide higher capacity. Narrow setting angles, naturally, reduce speed and capacity, but increase the probability of particles passing through the holes, and as a result impurities extraction efficiency increases. Besides, narrow setting angles provide an opportunity for more efficient cleaning of small grains and oilseeds (rape, mustard, sunflower, soybean).


Screen frames are divided into meshes by long and cross baffles, where special rubber balls for cleaning of screens from trapped debris are placed.


Body’s drive is accomplished by electric motor via V-belt transmission. Drive motor is installed at the brackets on the left side of the body (at the request of the customer motor can be installed on the right side of the body). Belts tension is accomplished by slide plate motion along the grooves with the help of tension screws.


Initially heap of chaff and grain comes from gravity flow duct to feeder, where it is distributed over the entire width of the machine and preliminary cleaned by air flow from light impurities. 


On top, at the body front part, inlet nozzle is placed (pic.4). It serves for supply of sort product from feeder to the body.


The machine’s body circulates that impacts the product to shift over the screen followed by assortment. 


Coarse impurities derive from the separator through chute (pic.4), mixture of grain with fine impurities through sizing screen flows to lower screen frame. 


Fine impurities through lower screen fall to separator bottom and through chute derive from the machine.


Grain cleaned on screens from coarse and fine impurities flows to inlet nozzle of aspiration channel.


In the aspiration channel grain is additionally blown by air flow from bypass air duct and additionally cleaned up from residual light impurities.

The machine is able to operate on receiving cleaning process (pre-cleaning) and industrial cleaning process (main cleaning) depending on screens types.


To clean the grain from impurities that differ by dimensions different screens, corresponding to shape and size of dominant crops and foreign impurities, can be applied: with circular, elongated and triangle holes.


Attention! Screens selection is carried out by the consumer at worksite depending on feedstock and its characteristics (moisture, impurities content, grain particle size etc.) for the purpose of obtaining the required cleaning standard.

Идет время, появляются новые материалы и технологии, нарабатывается опыт эксплуатации, завод постоянно совершенствует конструкции своих изделий. После освоения нового изделия, все проблемы «вылазят», как правило, в течение первых двух лет. При этом завод учитывает их в конструкциях следующих партий, а уже поставленные, модернизирует за свой счет.
