Dust radial fans VRP type are designed to move dusty air and gas mixtures with mechanical impurities content max. 1 g/m3.


Fans are applied in systems of pneumatic transport for grain and products of its processing, in equipment aspiration systems, for movement of air and other gas mixtures, which corrosivity in relation to carbon steel of ordinary quality is not higher than corrosivity of air, with temperature max. 80ºС, which do not contain sticky substances and fibrous materials, and for other sanitary-technical and industrial purposes.


Fans are produced in accordance with National State Standard GOST 5976-90.

Fans are powered by a three-phase network (with zero wire) of alternating current 380 V, frequency 50 Hz. Specified aerodynamic characteristics are provided under normal atmospheric conditions (density 1,2 kg/m3, barometric pressure 101,34 kPa, temperature 200С above zero and relative humidity 50%). When fans are operating under an elevated temperature or in highlands a significant reduction of pressure is possible.


Structure and Functioning


Depending on the version fans consist of the following parts: plinth, scroll cover, wheel (impeller), inlet nozzle and electric motor (fig.1). Plinth consists of disc for cover fastening and sub-frame. Impeller is mounted directly on the electric motor shaft.


Fan operational principle lies in the movement of air due to transmission of impeller rotational energy. If the impeller rotates clockwise when viewed from the inlet nozzle side, it is a right-hand fan, if it rotates against – the left-hand version. Position of fan scroll cover is determined in accordance with National State Standard GOST 5976-90 point 1.13. Characteristics of pressure dependence on air consumption under normal conditions are shown on the graph (fig.2).
