Degerminator MP is designed for grinding (degermination) of corn (maize) to receive optimal quality germs with maximal carotene content in crushed grain, as well as grit and flour while working in production lines at enterprises.

Degerminator allows dry grain processing, without applying subsequent drying of the products. Machines are produced in accordance with third category of GOST-15150, climate version U for internal market and export to temperate countries.

Structure and Functioning


The machine consists of body 1, rotor 2 with beaters 9, cylinder 3, inlet nozzle 4, protection construction 8, tension screw 11, supporting bearings 12, outlet nozzle 13 (fig.1).


The main body of the machine is beater rotor 2 placed in the body 1. Beater rotor has a shaft, crosspieces 10 and beaters 9. Rotor is installed in the bearing blocks fixed on the end walls of the machine body 1.


Rotation of the rotor is carried out by drive through the V-belt transmission. Standard 11,0 kW electric motors with foot mounting are applied for the drive. Tension of V-belts 7 is carried out by tension screws 11.


Product through inlet nozzle 4 and feeder 5 is supplied to the operating area, where its rotational and axial motion is carried out due to beaters 9 placed on rotor crosspieces 10.


Product is pushed by rotor beaters 9 to fixed cylinder 3 plates, which stop its movement. Product is grinded due to intense impact in the clearances between sidewall and rotor. Crushed grain is shifted by bended plates on the rotor and removed from the machine through outlet nozzle 13.


Attention! If it is necessary to replace one beater 9, the opposite beater also must be replaced.


If possible, it is recommended to replace the complete set. After the replacement of beaters 9, rotor 2 must be dynamically balanced.


Cylinder 3 consists of two parts connected in a horizontal plane. Cylinder is fixed on the feeder 5 and on the inner wall of machine body 1.


For uniform wear of the surface it is recommended to rotate the cylinder 3 by 180 during operation.
