Structure and Functioning


Aspiration chamber (aspirator) BSH-100.20 consists of chamber 1, outlet box 2 and collector (optionally) 20 (fig.2).


Inlet box 3 with spring-loaded tray is designed for uniform product supply to the aspiration channel and allows product distribution along the length of aspiration channel. Chamber housing is a prefabricated-welded construction made of sheet metal, which inner walls and baffles form vertical aspiration 14 and recirculation 15 channels, settling chamber 16. Cross flow fan (rotor) 12 and auger 11 for settled tailings remove are installed in the settling chamber along the machine length. Outlet box 2 with gate valve 4 for clean product remove is fixed on the chamber with bolts in the lower part of aspiration channel. Product support in the box 2 is adjusted by movement of load on the stud bolt of gate valve 4 that allows eliminating air suction in aspiration channel.


Aspiration channel serves for light impurities remove. It consists of housing side walls and movable wall 9. Wall consists of two pin-connected parts. Upper and lower parts can be moved by hand levers 7 and 8 that changes cross-section profile of aspiration channel and air speed in vertical cross-section. Air consumption in the aspiration channel is adjusted by throttle valve with hand lever 6. Inspection windows 17 allow visual control of separation process.


To adjust the aspiration channel operation it is necessary to install movable wall in vertical position or so that the channel is narrowed down slightly. The required product quality can be reached by adjustment of channel depth and amount of air.


Technological process is shown on fig. 3.


Cross flow fan rotor of welded construction with disks, where 12 blades are welded. Rotor rotates in bearing blocks. Auger 11 is fixed on the chamber housing with screw bolts and serves for settled tailings remove from settling chamber. Auger shaft is installed on two ball-type spherical bearings. Antisuction valve is fixed on the nozzle for tailings remove, which is installed on the auger on the opposite side of the drive. Covers 18 and 19 with rubber seals are fixed on the housing end wall for installation and cleaning of separator internal surface. Electric motor, which is installed on plate, V-belt transmission and countershaft are applied for fan 12 and auger 11 drive. Countershaft serves for V-belt tension from fan to auger.
