Shelling machine MShH type of continuous operation is designed for shelling of barley, pea, wheat, panic grass (millet), as well as for grinding and polishing of cereals, obtained during their processing at groats mills, farm and individual households.

Shelling machines are produced in accordance with third category of National State Standard GOST-15150, climate version Ӕ for internal market and export to temperate countries. However, shelling machines have to work reliably in operating regimes at a temperature from 10 () degrees below zero to 40 () degrees above zero, relative moisture 80% with average annual temperature of 15 () degrees above zero, atmospheric pressure from 650 to 800 mm Hg (86.6÷106.7 kPa).

Shelling machine is supplied assembled. Scope of supply:

1) shelling machine (with installed half-cylinders MShH-11.04.000 with perforated screen □ 1,7 mm 16 mm) 1 pc.;

2) two half-cylinders with perforated screen □ 1,1 mm 10 mm;

3) passport, operations manual 1 pc.


Wear parts on customer order:


1) Abrasive discs.

Structure and Functioning


Shelling machine MShH (fig.2) consists of vertical body 1 installed on frame 2. Screen cylinder 3, made of screen with thickness 1,2..1,5 mm and holes of rectangular or circular cross-section, is placed inside the body. Seven abrasive discs 5 are installed on vertical shaft 4, which passes through the entire machine in the middle part. Aspiration sidewalls 6 are placed between discs. Discs are clamped on the shaft by nuts 7. Shaft with abrasive discs is the main operating body, which is driven by electric motor via V-belt transmission.


Body is closed by cover 8 in the upper part. Upper bearing block and product inlet nozzle are placed in the cover. Outlet nozzle with valve for adjustment of processed product outlet is placed in the lower part.


Product via inlet nozzle enters to the first disc conical part and slides to the clearance between discs and screen. Grain shelling is occurred in circular clearance between discs and screen surface as the result of grain friction on screen, abrasive and mutual friction.


Essential condition for normal machine operation is full filling of machine working area with product, it must be carefully adjusted. Amount of outlet product should not exceed amount of inlet product, otherwise set operating mode will be violated.


Entire volume of the machine working area holds 13 kg of the product.


Fan impeller is installed in the shaft lower part. Impeller, rotating, sucks air through openings in the shaft upper end. Air, passing through the cavity provided by shaft structure, penetrates product inside the machine and together with grain shells and light impurities through the screen sidewall is thrown by the fan into the outlet nozzle. This partially cleans and cools the product.


For processing of barley, pea and wheat it is recommended to apply screens specified in the tab.1, installed in sidewalls MShH-11.04.010 with clearance between abrasive discs and perforated screen 10 mm. For panic grass (millet) processing it is recommended to apply sidewalls MShH-11.04.010-01 with clearance between abrasive discs and perforated screen 8 mm.
